Baakh is a non-profit digital archive of Sindhi poetry, launched publicly on World Poetry Day, 21 March 2024. It preserves classical and contemporary ghazals, baits, waee, nazms, and other forms in original Sindhi script and Roman transliteration so students, researchers, and readers can cite stable URLs.
History
The project began in 2020 and moved to Laravel in 2023. Founders Kamran Wahid and Ubaid Thaheem built it to gather poetry that had lived in books, journals, and private collections. Platform rights sit with Baakh Foundation. The archive is not a commercial publisher and does not sell personal data.
