Asham Nathan Shahi: The literary name of Ghulam Rasool Solangi was Asham Nathan Shahi. He was born on January 2, 1937 in village Kathari, taluk Khairpur Nathan Shah, district Dadu in the house of Allah Bakhsh Solangi. He is counted among the famous poets. Asham Nathan Shahi, after studying Sindhi for five levels, received Arabic and Persian education from his maternal grandmother Maulvi Faiz Muhammad 'Parishan' and the madrasa of Al Harkii Jalbani village in Larkana district. In terms of his profession, he used to work sometimes as a laborer, sometimes as a private worker, and sometimes as a private employee. He was fond of poetry since his childhood. After 1962, the famous poet 'Mohsin' began to recite poetry under the reformation of Kakari. "Bizm Talibul Moola" branch started participating in academic and literary activities by being associated with Khairpur Nathan Shah. In 1963, he established "Adara Falah wa Bhabood Khairpurnathan Shah" together with "Mohsan Kakarai" and opened a library. His poetry collections are "Jamb Ula Ubh Mein" (1994) and "Lahroon Lahroon Lat" (1998), "What Chases the Mirror?" (2006), "Chalkya Nain Katura" (2006), "Samreen Ji Shahr Mein" (2009). ) and "Poetry" (2018) are published. While the book of prose "Maan bhi samsanaan tho kuh zaseh" (Author: Zulfiqar Gadhehi) was published in 2020. In recognition of his literary services, he received a cash prize for his book from Kenjhar Literary Board (1994) and Sindhi Literary Society. He died on October 6, 2006.
