Ahmed Shakir Gaincho, born on 5 February 1997 in Mecca, is a Sindhi poet and prose writer from Mehar, Dadu, contributing to Sindhi literature since his teens.
Ahmed Shakir Gaincho, also known by his pen name Ahmed Shakir, was born on 5 February 1997 in Mecca, Saudi Arabia, to Muhammad Khan Gaincho. Originally hailing from Mehar, a city in Dadu District, Sindh, he developed a passion for literature from a young age. Ahmed completed his Matriculation from Government High School Mehar, Intermediate from Degree College Mehar, and later earned a B.Com degree from Shaheed Benazirabad University, Nawabshah.
Ahmed started writing poetry and prose during his teenage years and quickly gained recognition for his talent and dedication. His works, written in Sindhi, have been published in various magazines and newspapers across Sindh and even in India.
Ahmed has authored several books, including:
- Qadeem Daur Joon Azeem Falsafi Aurtoon (2018) - A translated work.
- Kuvta Ji Kala (2018) - The Sindhi translation of the popular book Poetic.
- Hik Nazar Hedanh - A celebrated collection of his original writings.
