Haleem Setai not only excelled in academics but also carved a distinct identity in the literary world. He is skilled in various forms of poetry, including ghazals, songs, traditional Sindhi forms such as baits, bhajans, tairas, and chauks. His writings reflect the essence of Sindh’s soil, social realities, and profound intellectual depth.

Haleem Setai has worked as a teacher in various institutions, contributing significantly to education. Some key milestones in his teaching career include:

Primary Teacher at Sujagro Elementary School, Hyderabad (2014–2018)
Additionally, he worked for two years as an alterations tailor at Label Uniform Center in Hyderabad. Leveraging his proficiency in English grammar, particularly tenses, he also served as an English instructor at various centers. Many of his students are now employed in esteemed positions.
