His lineage traces back to the Laka caste, with his family receiving the title "Daras" due to spiritual ties with the Suhrawardiya family. Hasan's poetic journey began at the age of 16, influenced by his grandfather, Muhammad Hasan Daras, a renowned poet whose works were widely celebrated in spiritual gatherings.

Education and Career

Hasan completed his early education in his village and matriculated from Muslim High School, Tando Allahyar. He later earned his master's degree in Sindhi literature from the University of Sindh, Jamshoro. His poetry, infused with music, intellectual depth, and Sufism, resonated with the masses and reflected his deep love for Sindh's history, culture, and geography.
