Sufi Rohal Faqir (1734–1804) was a saint-poet, mystic, and exponent of Sufi philosophy. He belonged to the Zangeja caste, practiced the Muslim faith, and followed the Sufi path. Many considered him to be a reincarnation of the great saint-poet Kabir in the Sindh region. Rohal is the ancestor of the well-known Kandri Sharif tribe of poets and people of piety. He achieved great heights in Sufism through the blessings of Sufi-sage Shah Inayat, a famous martyr.
